Established in 2019 - Carolina Lady Crusaders are an elite female minor league basketball organization. Based in Columbia, South Carolina, the Lady Crusaders compete in the Women's Basketball Development Association (WBDA).

Carolina Lady Crusaders were a charter member of the five-team Women's East Coast Basketball League (WECBL) In 2019. Other teams involved were the Augusta Phoenix, Beafort Bison, Florence Lady Wildcats and Georgia Lady Fire.

The Lady Crusaders joined the WBDA for the 2020 season which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
